Paypal information:
We are no longer are charging a fee for paypal payments. The reason for this is simple, it is too complicated to explain to the few that want to use paypal. But, we will require you to bundle your lots and make a single payment.
NOTE: PAYPAL costs, and the costs are significant. To date with more than 400 payments, we have collected $800 in fees. The cost to us of paypal for those same 400 payments was $738.46. So per payment to date, with 400 transactions and our $2 fee we were ahead by $.15 per payment. Without the fee the this would have been $738.46 out of our pocket. We are not sure we will be able to continue using paypal. What will probably happen is that we are going to have to eliminate the small sales, those $.99 items and we are going to have raise our prices. The accounting for a $.99 item is difficult anyway. With $.30 listing fee, 5% commission, 3% and $.30 paypal transaction fees, our cost of $.10 to $.30 for the material and then the labor of listing, photographing, packaging, shipping, tape and packing materials, we are losing about $5 every time we try to sell something for $.99, paypal just makes this situation worse.
Making payments using PayPal e-payment services. If you have an account with PayPal, you can go to your account and send payment to our account: paypalpay@machinist-materials.com
If you do not have an account you will have to set one up with PayPal: Account Set Up This is straight forward and pretty simple process. If you are wishing to use your credit card or bank as a funding source for using PayPal, then there is a verification process. This usually takes a day. Once you have funds in your PayPal account then you can send them to anyone with an email address that is signed up with PayPal.

You should not attempt to make payment till you have received your CW notice, via email, from us. This is a payment request notice. If you have more than one lot, you will get a CW notice for each lot. If you have more than one lot and we can bundle these for shipping, the shipping will be adjusted for the entire package and the shipping will be prorated between each lot. For a total amount add up your CW notices.
This is a quark of the database that controls inventory and manages each sale. Our computers track each lot as an individual entity through the sale process. Each time, each lot changes status you will get an auto-email notification.
Your CW notice will contain pertinent information, lot descriptions and your address. You should check to make sure that this information is correct. The address is the shipping address. You will also get purchase amount and prorated shipping amount in the CW notice. If you have more than one lot, you will need to add up your CW notices for the total.

If you do wish to use PayPal and have signed up, then using your amount go to www.paypal.com, put in your user ID and password, click on the send money tab. Put in our account information paypalpay@machinist-materials.com
A PayPal notice will be sent to us and your lot/s will move to CS status, you will get a CS notice, meaning that yours lots have been paid for and are ready to ship. When they do ship you will get a SH notice, shipping usually occurs one to three days after payment is processed. SHIPPING
